Eligibility: |
|
|
Vocational or industrial trade training with 2 to 3
years experience in mechanical trade in oil &
gas industry. |

Alternatively any equivalent
qualifications.

Course Contents: |
|
|
Introduction on role of electrician for construction
and operation maintenance phase.
|
|
Description of common tools, accessories, safety gears
and procedures.
|
|
Knowledge on main power side and distribution work.
|
|
Knowledge on underground, overhead cabling and others
types of wiring,
also its testing and Safety procedures. |

Infrastructure: |
|
|
Electrical workshop is equipped with Transformer,
Switchgears and MCCs. Various sizes of cables, glands
and lugs are available for practical training.
Additionally, different types of flameproof lighting
fittings for plant illumination are available. All
types of measuring instruments and standard and
special tools are available.

Assessment & Grading of
trainees:
|
|
|
To ensure proper progress of training, Techskill
periodically conducts assessment of all trainees.
Normally a review at the beginning of course then in
middle of course duration and finally on completion of
course. |
