placement on foundation / staging of other
auxiliaries / services connections.

Levelling of plant equipment with precision levelling
equipment. |

Should be aware of equipment alignments (i. e. static
and rotary). |

Shall be aware of safety precautions during equipment
erection and commissioning. |

Eligibility: |
|
|
Vocational or industrial trade training with 2 to 3
years experience in mechanical trade in oil &
gas industry. |
|
Alternatively any equivalent
qualifications.
|

Course Contents: |
|
|
Introduction on role of erector in oil and gas
industry. |
|
Description of various equipment such as tanks,
columns, reactors, vessels, heat exchangers, reboilers
etc. |
|
Understanding of plant layouts, equipment drawings,
including nozzle orientations and piping systems.
|
|
Knowledge of checking verticality and precision
levelling.
|

Infrastructure: |

|
Techskill training workshop is equipped with precision
measuring instruments and alignment checking tools,
which are a key input for erection skills.
Additionally, we combine the interactive DVD demos, to
understand the finer aspects of the erection. On
gaining these basic inputs, we compliment with
suitable plant site visits. |

Assessment & Grading of
trainees:
|
|
|
To ensure proper progress of training, Techskill
periodically conducts assessment of all trainees.
Normally a review at the beginning of course then in
middle of course duration and finally on completion of
course. |
