valves, furnaces and boilers. |

Testing and recommissioning of equipment, to ensure
performance.

Troubleshooting – carrying out short term and long
term corrective measures.

Eligibility: |
|
|
Vocational or industrial trade training with 2 to 3
years experience in mechanical trade in oil &
gas industry. |
|
Alternatively any equivalent
qualifications.
|

Course Contents: |
|
|
Role of stationary equipment technicians in oil and
gas industry.
|
|
Knowledge on process equipment dismantling and
assembling.
|
|
Blinding, de-blinding of equipments and pipings for
maintenance jobs.
|
|
Knowledge of NDT and other tests, visual inspection,
hydro / pneumatic testing.
|
|
Knowledge of safety procedures during maintenance i.
e. hot / cold
work permits, PPE, fire fighting and other tools. |

Infrastructure: |

Due to constraints of installing huge stationary
equipment in Techskill training workshop we prefer to
impart all practical aspects by utilizing interactive
DVD demos. Further to this training to understand the
finer aspects of maintenance we arrange suitable plant
site visits.

Assessment & Grading of
trainees:
|
|
|
To ensure proper progress of training, Techskill
periodically conducts assessment of all trainees.
Normally a review at the beginning of course then in
middle of course duration and finally on completion of
course. |
